Beijing, China, April 23rd, 2014–The 2014 IEEE PES Transmission & Distribution Conference & Exposition took place between April 15 and 17 in Chicago, USA. C-EPRI showcased its HVDC technologies and products on this event, and brought more than 300 audiences to its booth. The visitors showed great interest in C-EPRI’s HVDC product models and welcomed their presence.

With over 12,000 attendees, 780 exhibitors, this show is the largest and most comprehensive of its type in the world, by attending which, we have further increased our exposure in the international arena. It has also offered us a precious opportunity to network with various professionals within the industry.

The US is one of our key target markets. The existing transmission systems provide a huge marketplace due to growing reliability and renewable energy in-feed requirement. Statistics shows that the total investment volume would amount up to 100 billion USDs in the coming decade, with over 70GW renewables feeding into network by 2020. That’s exactly where C-EPRI’S HVDC technologies come in, perfectly for both long distance bulk power transmission and renewable energy access, yet with minimal environmental impact.
