Beijing, China, December 4th 2013 – The first annual maintenance of Jinping-Sunan±800kV Ultra High Voltage Direct Current (UHVDC) transmission project has been finished, which lasted 12 days and was ended in November 9. Elites of C-EPRI undertook the maintenance of converter valve and Valve Base Electronics of the Pole II low-voltage terminal.
The project employs C-EPRI’s self-developed A5000 converter valve, the performance of which is excellent and thus wins acknowledgement of the end user SGCC. In recent years, C-EPRI is committed to promoting project execution capability and has strictly built a set of regimes and regulations covering research and development, procurement, manufacturing, test and inspection, installation and commissioning, and after-sales service, which has realized streamline and standardization of project implementation.
C-EPRI is not only working on quality assurance improvement, but also on promoting after-sales services. It has been fulfilling the promise of 7 by 24 hours hotline service as well as showing up on-site within 24 hours. Its high-efficiency after-sales services have ensured stable electric power supply during peak time in summer. This is the first annual maintenance since Jinping-Sunan project is commissioned. C-EPRI team has accomplished the maintenance tasks with high quality, laying a solid foundation for continuous heavy load operation of Jinping-Sunan project next year.
