Beijing, China, December 10, 2014 –C-EPRI has won an order worth $136 million to supply converter valve and valve cooling equipment for Lingzhou-Shaoxing ±800kV UHVDC transmission project. This is the fourth UHVDC order since 2011.
This UHVDC link is designed to
transfer 8000MW from Lingzhou in the northwestern Ningxia Autonomous region to
Shaoxing in the eastern Zhejiang province, stretching over a distance of 1722
km. Bipole commercial operation is scheduled for the end of 2015. This project
is of great significance in terms of surplus power output, power network optimization
and air-pollution prevention.
C-EPRI has been very well recognized in the HVDC field
and has been growing very fast thanks to its sustained technological innovation
and reliable project performance. The winning of this project has further
reinforced its leading position in the Chinese market.
