On April 24, 2017, the technical upgrade project for VSC-HVDC transmission of Shanghai Nanhui Wind Farm once-time successfully passed 72h trial operation test under AC/DC split mode and got officially commissioned. Control and protection systems of this project were CPS5000 supplied by C-EPRI. Successful operation of this project indicates that C-EPRI has been capable of supply and engineering for a full set of VSC-HVDC transmission equipment.
